~finally an update~

ok here is an update about what is currently going on with my life:

Navy:

officer part:
so i took the ASTB test that i mentioned in my last post and i did pass, but i think that i did so by the skin of my teeth. i got a 43 on it and i dont think that score is the greatest but at least i did pass. i found out that i qualified for three jobs. 1. supply officer 2. surface warfare officer 3. aviation maintenance duty officer. the two that i am really leaning towards are 1 and 2 because i am not that much into maintenace stuff. so right n ow i am still trying to get down to my goal weight and to be able to pass the pt.

enlisted part:
so right now i am going to get into the enlisted part and also try to get into the officer program as well. if i do get accepted into the officer part i will just bypass everything for being enlisted and just go to ocs instead. anyways, i went to go talk to the recruiters on friday afternoon, because they had called and said that they wanted to set up some dates to get together to do some workouts. so i went over there and got that figured out. i start that in april.....so wish me luck....i am sure that i am going to get my butt kicked...but i think that it wil be worth it after it is all done. i also, got one of my friends from school to do the workouts with me. i think that it will be good for some moral support.

so while i was talking to them, i asked them about doing both enlisted and officer at the same time. and they said yeah you can do that, not a problem. chief l, told me about this since he does the recruiting for the officer side of things. so i figured that i would ask chief h about it to see what he had to say. well, they told me about it and then they asked if i wanted to go ahead and go to meps on monday (3/30) and tuesday (3/31) since they have someone going up there already and i said sure, since i have nothing goin on those days.
so what was suppose to be a quick visit to the recruiters office, turned into a two hour thing.

so we got all of the papaer work that needs to be done before going to meps which took forever! they ask you about pass medical history, if you have had any pass problems with the law, info about tattoos, and everything else that they could possible think of. so that took some time, but we got it done.

so on monday evening i will be going to st louis to get everything in place for meps on tuesday. i am going to be getting a nice 4 am wake up call that mornig and then after that all the fun stuff will take place. i will have to take an eye test, hearing test, and a physical test to make sure that everything is working right. so kind of wondering what all goes on with that part if it. after that i will be able to pick out my jobs that i would like to do, if i dont get into the officer program (but lets hope that doesnt happen!) and then i will swear in and be in dep (delayed entry program) which means i wont be able to go to bootcamp until next march/april of nesxt year.

so basically that is everything new that is going on in my life right now. so when i get back from stl i will update you all. so ttyl :)
